The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) is the flagship event of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community organized by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) and the European Commission (DG CNECT). The 2020 webinar of the EBDVF took place between the 3rd and the 5th of November 2020 and focused on “AI and Big Data Transforming Business and Society”.
During the event, Alexandra Garatzogianni (Coordinator of MediaFutures & Head of Knowledge and Technology Transfer at TIB and Coordinator of EU Projects at Leibniz University of Hannover) represented the H2020 MediaFutures project and acted as a panelist, presenting the application procedures as well as the three programme tracks and the challenges MediaFutures addresses.
Alexandra Garatzogianni said:
“We want to demonstrate how developing a multidisciplinary data innovation hub like MediaFutures can reshape the media value chain across Europe. We are looking forward to receiving applications from startups, SMEs and artists with products, services, artworks and experiences that have the potential to transform how citizens engage with quality journalism, science education and democratic processes.”
