The Leibniz University of Hannover (LUH) is one of the nine leading technical universities in Germany (TU9 consortium). LUH coordinates MediaFutures and engages in the project via its research center L3S.
The L3S Research Center is a joint research institute of several universities in Lower Saxony. Work at L3S focuses on excellent AI-based research and the development of innovative and cutting-edge methods and technologies.
The L3S Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) helps companies make the most of the opportunities offered by digital technologies and remain competitive in the face of digital change and innovation, serving thus as a central contact point for sustainable digital transformation while covering all necessary competencies and services – from research and development to training, consulting and financing.
LUH has a two-fold leading role in MediaFutures; leading the overall project coordination as well as the project’s Exploitation and Sustainability, while actively participating in all work packages, ensuring thus that the data innovation hub and the supporting ecosystem established during the project will continue to thrive beyond the project’s duration. The core LUH team consists of the MediaFutures Coordinator, Alexandra Garatzogianni, and the innovation management experts Gerrit Rosam and Alina Brockob.
